Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Private AI (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App.

01Summary

Private AI is designed to run locally on your iPhone. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not collect your prompts, generated images, chat history, saved images, contacts, photos, location, or other personal content. The App does not send your prompts or generated images to us. The App may use third-party services for advertising, consent management, in-app purchases, and remote advertising configuration, as described below.

02Data We Collect

We do not collect your prompts, generated images, chat history, saved images, contacts, photos, location, name, email address, phone number, or account information. Private AI does not require an account. We do not sell your personal data.

03Information Stored on Your Device (Local-Only)

To provide the App's functionality, Private AI may store certain information only on your device, such as: • app preferences and settings • selected models • prompts and/or generation history if you choose to keep them • generated images if you choose to save them • downloaded AI models • local purchase or reward state needed to show the correct app experience This information remains on your device unless you delete it.

04On-Device Image Generation

Private AI generates images on-device based on prompts you enter. We do not receive your prompts or generated images. We do not use your prompts or generated images for analytics, advertising, training, or profiling.

05In-App Purchases

Private AI may offer a one-time in-app purchase, such as “Remove Ads Forever,” to remove ads permanently. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment information, such as your card details. Apple may provide purchase status information to the App so that the App can unlock paid features or restore purchases.

06Advertising

The App may display ads using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK. Ads may include banners, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, native ads, and app open ads. If you purchase “Remove Ads Forever,” the App disables ads for your Apple ID. In regions where consent is required, the App may show a Google consent form before requesting ads. This may apply in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions where consent requirements apply. If consent or ad eligibility does not allow ad requests, ads may not be shown. We do not send your prompts, generated images, chat history, or saved images to advertising services. Advertising services may process information needed to deliver, measure, limit, and improve ads. This may include device identifiers, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, diagnostic information, and other ad-related data. This processing is governed by the relevant third-party privacy policies, including Google's Privacy Policy.

07Rewarded Ads

The App may offer optional rewarded ads. Rewarded ads allow you to choose to watch an ad in exchange for a temporary in-app benefit, such as temporary ad-free access or temporary access to advanced image settings. Rewarded ads are optional. If rewarded ads are unavailable, offline, or not allowed by consent settings, the App will not require you to watch them to use core local AI features.

08Remote Advertising Configuration

The App may contact our Cloudflare Worker to download a remote advertising configuration. This configuration may control whether ads are enabled and how often certain ad formats may appear. The request does not include your prompts, generated images, chat history, saved images, name, email address, or account information.

09Third-Party Services

Private AI may use the following third-party services: • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK: used to show ads in the App. • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): used to request and manage ad consent where required. • Apple StoreKit: used to process in-app purchases and restore purchases. • Cloudflare Worker: used to retrieve remote advertising configuration. We do not send your prompts, generated images, chat history, or saved images to these services. Third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

10Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not collect your prompts, generated images, chat history, or saved images on our servers, we do not retain that content on our side. You control local data stored on your device. You can delete saved items from within the App where controls are provided, and you can delete the App to remove locally stored app data from your device. Third-party services may retain data according to their own privacy policies and legal requirements.

11Your Choices

• Remove Ads: You can purchase “Remove Ads Forever” to disable ads permanently for your Apple ID. • Restore Purchases: You can restore eligible purchases through the App. • Ad Consent: In regions where consent is required, you may be shown a Google consent form to manage ad choices. • Device Storage: You control what you save on your device and can delete local content at any time. • App Deletion: You can delete the App to remove locally stored app data from your device.

12Children's Privacy

Private AI is not intended to collect personal information from children. As described above, we do not collect prompts, generated images, chat history, saved images, account information, or contact information from users. Advertising services may have their own policies and restrictions related to children and age-sensitive users.

13Changes to This Policy

If we change our privacy practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the Effective Date.
